The Romanian Armed Forces are prepared to face NATO missions

The Romanian Defence Ministry (MApN) hosted a ceremony in the ending of the support mission supported by the Allied Joint Force Command Naples for the integration of the Romanian Armed Forces with the NATO. MApN says Chief of the Romanian Armed Forces Staff Stefan Danila and Commander of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples Samuel J. Locklear signed a joint declaration. Admiral Locklear said Romania proved that it has essential operational capabilities to be included in the structures of the NATO forces and the integrated air defense system. Romanian troops made a name for themselves in the KFOR mission and the Romanian forces deployed in the theatres of operation were constantly up to task in the harsh conflicts and conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan, Locklear also said. He added that the Romanian Armed Forces are well trained, well managed and professional and NATO is very much satisfied with the progress of the Romanian Army during the integration process.
