The National Premiere Of The “Falling Angels”

The Bucharest National Opera (ONB)’s ballet company presents on May 1 the national premiere of the choreographic show “Falling Angels” by Jiri Kylian, considered by many specialists the world’s top contemporary choreographer. “Falling Angels” is paying homage to ballerinas, being a work created for eight dancers, depicting their endless striving to perfection. The world premiere of the show took place on November 23, 1989, performed by the Nederlands Dans Theater contemporary dance company. The Bucharest production of “Falling Angels” is directed by Nancy Euverink, assistant to the choreographer Jiri Kylian.
