Romanians work most hours per week, among EU employees

The report the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) reads that last year, full time Romanian employees had the longest working week (averagely 41.2 hours), from among the 28 countries (Croatia included). The collectively bargained work timetable is 40 hours per week in Romania, the longest in the EU, the same as in Hungary, Malta., Estonia, Greece and Croatia. Likewise, the Eurofound report says that Romania comes one but last among the EU countries, in terms of the paid average vacation (29 days a year), the same like in Hungary or Poland.
