Romanian PM Ponta meets Hong Kong counterpart

On Sunday, Romania’s Prime Minister Victor Ponta met head of the Hong Kong Government Leung Chun-ying, as part of an ongoing Asia tour. “Prime Minister Ponta meeting Leung Chun-ying, head of the Hong Kong Government, as part of his Asian tour. The two officials discussed the excellent bilateral commercial ties between Romania and Hong Kong, insisting on their continuation. The prime minister was also scheduled to meet representatives of Chinese corporations Huawei, China Nuclear Electric and ZTE,” reads the poster on Ponta’s Facebook page. Ponta arrived in China on Sunday, on a visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang. The visit to China is part of an Asian tour that started on June 26 and that also included Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
