Romania is 73rd by ease of doing business

The most recent edition of the Doing Business report drawn up by the World Bank (WB), that was launched in Washington on Tuesday shows that Romania has retained its No. 73 place out of 189 states in the rankings of the states where it is easiest to do business. The country’s overall points have improved slightly from last year by 0.48 points up to 65.11 points thanks to the progress made on starting a business, paying taxes and enforcing contracts. Romania has simplified starting up a business by transferring the registration certificate from the Tax Administration to the Trade Register Office.
