Real life large wax figures at Geology Museum

This month, the National Geology Museum hosts the temporary wax figures exhibition called “Myth, Fiction and Reality”. The exhibition includes 37 large as life wax figures. They were brought over from the Saint Petersburg Museum of Wax Figures. The exhibition is open to visitors January 5 to February 8, 2012, except for the January 19-23 interval, when it will be closed for maintenance. The real and imaginary figures whose wax replicas will be on display in Bucharest include: Michelangelo, Shakespeare, Leonardo da Vinci, La Gioconda, Shrek, Harry Potter, Aphrodite, Helen of Troy, Geryon, the Wolfman, the Minotaur, Cerberus, Zeus, as well as the fattest man in the world. The price of an entrance ticket is RON 15 for adults and RON 7 for children. The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
