Provident Financial Romania lending gains 12 % in first half of the year

In the first half of the year, the loan book of Provident Financial Romania went up 12 % to EUR 54.9 million, compared to the same period of last year. Revenues added 10 % to EUR 37.2 million. The company is part of the British group International Personal Finance (IPF), has 269,000 active clients and is undergoing an expansion program. Ivo Kalik, general director of Provident Financial Romania, declared that in the first half of the year the company continued to expand operations. The company opened ten new working points. According to Kalik, plans are to continue development in the second half of the year, allowing the company to almost fully cover the urban population in all the counties.
