IMF delegation to arrive in Bucharest

A delegation of the International Monetary Fund /IMF/ led by Erik de Vrijer, head of the IMF mission to Romania, starts an official working visit to Bucharest. The IMF delegation is on its sixth evaluation mission and will be in Romania for two weeks.  Tonny Lybek, the IMF representative for Romania said in a press communiqué that the IMF visit will be concurrent with that of the European Commission and World Bank delegations. “Throughout it, the delegations will hold meetings and talks with state authorities and officials from banks, civil societies and political parties,” he said. He added that Erik de Vrijer will make public the conclusions of the talks in Romania at the end of the delegation’s visit, August 13 namely.
