Bucharest is Europe’s least expensive office space market this year also

This year Bucharest is again the European capital with the lowest-priced market in terms of office space rentals. Budapest is second-lowest, followed by Talin, Vilnius and Riga, according to a DTZ study which examined 34 real estate markets across Europe. At the opposite end of the scale, there are Oslo, Paris, Zurich, Geneva and London, according to the same study. A rental cost scenario imagined by DTZ consultants, shows that in 2013-2014 rental costs in Bucharest may stay at the current level, with a declining risk of up to 2 %. The cost per work station takes into account the cost of rent adding to which are maintenance and taxes. The finishing of some big real estate projects led to the office work space going up in Bucharest, with the Barbu Vacarescu area, to give just one example, witnessing significant development in the past couple of years.
