BNR might reduce monetary policy interest at 4.25%

According to the financial-banking analysts, the National Bank of Romania (BNR) could reduce the monetary policy interest at 4.25% at the next meeting of the Board on issues of monetary policy of 30 September. The monetary policy interest could be reduced down to 4% in December 2013, according to the opinions expressed by the participants in the domestic survey in the Association of Financial-banking analysts of Romania (AAFBR). Estimates of most analysts for December 2014 places the interest of monetary policy at the level of 4%, but there are participants in the survey who see the possible drop of the interest to 3.75%.
