“Treasures of China” exhibition at the MNIR

The event-exhibition will run at the National History Museum of Romania (MNIR) for three months and will have its official inauguration today, 5.00 pm. Dr. Ernest Oberlander-Tarnoveanu, MNIR director, said on Friday at the exhibition preview that “this exhibit that MNIR can take pride in, is an unusual one, with regards to both the value of the items on display and the short time available to prepare it, March 19 – April” . While the MNIR official pointed out such event usually takes a year to prepare for, he nonetheless couldn’t have missed on such opportunity, given the Chinese side paid the transportation and insurance costs, as well as the Chinese experts involved with the project. “The Treasures of China” Exhibition will run April 30 – August 1, Tuesday thru Sunday, from 10.00 am to 18.00 pm, and until 10.00 pm on the last Saturday of each month. Visitor tickets for the exhibitions “The Treasures of China”, “Historic Treasure”, “Lapidarium – A copy of the Trajan’s Column” and temporary exhibitions will cost RON 25 – adults, and RON 15 – pupils, students, pensioners and disabled people. Also available, family packages for two adults and a maximum of three children up to 18 years of age.
