Tarom resumes search for private manager

Romanian airline company Tarom has announced that after Austrian Heinrich Vystoupil has given up the managing position, the process of selecting a manager will have to be resumed. Until a new appointment will be made, Sorin Georgescu will serve as interim. According to a press release, the board of administration will appoint a new CEO from the list of candidates selected by the Minister of Transport’s consultants in the shortest time. Vystoupil refused the position soon after being appointed on October 17, following contractual disagreements. He also stepped down as member of the board of administration. Vystoupil is a former head of the Austrian Airlines representative office for Romania and the Republic of Molodova.
